The project “The Skills that pay the bills” is organized by Training Centre CES – Macedonia and financially supported by the National Agency for European Education Programs and Mobility in Macedonia from the Erasmus + The program , that demonstrates a strategic international partnership aimed at developing new skills of the unemployed to improve their competencies in the labor market.
The strategic determination of the Training Centre CES is to offer quality educational product which is in accordance with the interests of the learners and the labour market needs, by increasing the competences and the skills for easier employment or self-employment. As part of the short-term objectives that our Centre has set up, we have determined several weak points according to the SWOT analysis. At this point we offer a number of courses for candidates who need retraining in order to be competitive for the labour market. More specifically, we want to concentrate on the dual system education and provide quality practice for the learners.
OBJECTIVES:
- Implementation of the dual education system
- Improvement of the programs and curricula we use with the current trends in Europe
- Improvement of the skills and competences of our learners in hairdressing and cosmetics
- Teaching through non formal methods in a professional environment
- Increasing the chances for employment of the profile for hairdressers and cosmeticians 6. Acquiring validated and recognized certificates that would enable learners get employed or open own businesses
- Creating opportunities for possible future partnerships with relevant organizations
RESULTS:
We made a selection of the total number of 12 learners who would attend two different internships in Bulgaria for hairdressers and Italy for cosmeticians. They will be accompanied by their trainers in order to get better monitoring and assure quality learning.
The motivation behind the selection of the learners was carefully choosing those who are enthusiastic, eager to learn, hardworking and talented in these specific fields. All of them have already finished or are currently attending courses in our training centre, and have accomplished much of the curricula and program.
